Sports Massage

Treatment Explained

Sports Massage is the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, tendons and ligaments. It is applicable not just to sports people but to anybody wishing to guard against or recover from a soft tissue injury. The sports Massage therapist will use oil and rapid movements; sports massage is a deep muscle tissue massage particularly of the forearm, elbow and wrist.

Sports massage can be used to treat specific sporting injuries by reducing the pain or can be used for relaxation by reducing tension within the muscles built up from ordinary day to day life.
